![]() If your tier I units will level up to some tier III variant of the same type, or in the way that we still have as many types as possible. It is a problem since that initial warrior will have little use. And we have like 5 culture combat units total. There is a small problem that after 50 turns the use of tier 1 culture units is minimal. except I then discovered that Copper Golem's also upgrade to Iron Golems at Champion rank, meaning I lose access to anti-cavalry troops again. I decided to pick up the Tome of Enchantment so I could recruit Copper Golems that I could use as my polearm units instead. So you have to pick tomes you may not want or spend time vassalizing certain Free Cities of a particular culture to recruit units to fill in that gap. Cultural units in particular feel very sparse. I was browsing the AoW4 database last night and was pretty surprised to see how few units there seems to be cultural, tome-specific, even animals and marauder units. It does feel like there's a real lack of units across the board in general.
